More WC
One for the road
Just back to say,
hip hip hooray.
The bottle is mine to keep.
I drank it deep.
It still doesn't say,
why I wasted away.

I didn't know they had such talent in the lower east side. Should have seen more of the city when I was there.

who is WC?
Some chap who used to write in a magazine . Called himself Wayne Chester, an obvious pseudonym. Claimed to be from the lower east side of NYC. Got killed over some drug related jig. That is about all I know about him, and of course the 5-6 poems I cut out before I left Ithaca.
